Features and technology

We’ve expanded Swisstek to include a top of the range model called the Swisstek Comfort System (SCS) that includes the latest in mattress innovation, designed to keep you comfortable and cool using the most advanced technology available. Sleepyhead designers still use the popular Swisstek Pocket Springs but have added a
layer of mini pocket springs on top that transition between the foam comfort layers and the mattress support system below. We’ve taken technology used to help regulate the body temperature of astronauts in their space suits and incorporated it into your mattress to ensure you get the best night’s sleep.

SwissTek® Pocket Spring

The Swisstek Pocket Spring features increased turns and uses heavier gauge wire than a traditional pocket spring to create seven dedicated posture zones that give you optimal spinal alignment and lower back support.

Swisstek Comfort System

This system incorporates the original Swisstek Pocket Spring for support, the foam layers for comfort but with the addition of a layer of mini pockets that also give you added comfort. The three components work together to maximize airflow as well as providing superior comfort and support with minimal partner disturbance.

Kulkote

The American hi-tech firm Kulkote has worked with us to integrate this heat regulating technology into the foam layers of Swisstek SCS. This range features Kulkote Silver with antibacterial properties that help you sleep comfortably.

The Swisstek Comfort System mattress features:

Kulkote Sliver - We’ve partnered with American tech firm Kulkote to have the natural antibacterial properties of silver integrated into the Phase Change Materials (PCMs) then rolled onto the foam comfort layer of the mattress.
Dreamfoam - An eco-friendly foam that’s available in soft, medium and firm density to suit your desired comfort level.
Swisstek Pocket Springs - Full height heat tempered pocket springs sit independently of each other in the mattress and contour to your unique body shape, providing excellent support and deep cushioning comfort.
Mini Pocket Springs - These are our smallest pocket springs that are specially designed as a comfort layer. They uniquely act as a transition between the large pocket springs below and the foam layers on top.
Pillowbase - This a super supportive layer of Dreamfoam at both ends of the mattress allows your pillow to cradle the neck and shoulders in the right position.
Fusion Gel - Comfort layer technology that combines our superior Memory Foam with the heat absorbing qualities of gel particles.
Graphene - Memory foam infused with graphene that keeps your mattress feeling fresh and cool for a better night’s sleep.
